New Schedule for the 2010 Tournament
Thursday, May 20, 2010
New This Year: Express Check-Out New this year... we will be offering a "Speed Pass" to our afternoon golfers. The "Grand Door Prize" and a brief appreciation ceremony will be held during lunch, not dinner. As you finish your afternoon round, we will provide you with some refreshments, give you a chance to check the leader board to see if you might be a hole prize or flight winner, and then send you on your way. We will announce all of the winners via the website (and email) and mail you your prize. We understand that friday nights are important times for you and your family... hopefully this idea speeds you on your way and frees up some of that time!

Where Did the 2009 Proceeds Go?
This year, a portion of the proceeds from Christian Academy of Knoxville’s annual Warrior ShootOut were used to purchase three interactive white boards by Promethean. An interactive whiteboard is a large display that combines the simplicity of a whiteboard, power of a computer, and ease of front projection. Promethean interactive whiteboards engage students with vivid images, video, and audio. The Promethean board enables anything that can be seen or done on a computer screen to be projected onto an interactive whiteboard – bringing every classroom to life. Several CAK teachers in the middle school had been using Prometahean boards in their classrooms for a few years. The response to these boards from both students and parents has been very positive. Students are engaged in stimulating content, making learning fun. Citing proven results, CAK purchased three more Promethean boards (one for each school – elementary, middle, and high), an investment of $30,000. Thank you for making this possible by participating the 22nd Annual Warrior ShootOut in September 2009! After purchase of the boards, the remaining $15,000+ raised from the golf tournament has been earmarked for tuition assistance and the school’s capital campaign.
